Budgeting for a home? Don't stop at the down payment. 💰

Closing costs (legal fees, title transfer, title insurance, property tax adjustments, etc) can run up to or in some cases, over 1.5% of your purchase price. On a $400K home, that's around $6,000 you'll want set aside on top of your down payment.

Slow and steady equity building. Getting that second opinion on your renewal offer. Not rushing into a purchase. None of it is exciting, but it’s how you actually build wealth instead of just talking about it.
