A big thank you to New Country 100.7 and Scotty from The Scotty Show for having me on today to talk about Making Waves for Autism!

We chatted about why this cause means so much to me, the impact we're making through Autism Canada's Community Assistance Program, and our upcoming Making Waves & Raising Pints team challenge this Friday, June 12.

If you're in the Kelowna area, we'd love to see you at Red Bird Brewing from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Join us for a fun day of rowing, community, prizes, and fundraising in support of autistic individuals and families across Canada.

No experience is required โ€” just drop by, hop on a rowing machine, and help us work toward our 365 km goal. There will also be great prizes to win, including a stand-up paddleboard, concert tickets, Kelowna Paddle Centre passes, and more.

Every kilometre counts. Every dollar helps.

I'm incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to speak with Asset TV about Making Waves for Autism, a cause that means so much to me.

What began as a personal challenge in memory of my cousin Tyler has grown into a national movement, thanks to the amazing support of so many paddlers, donors, volunteers, clubs, and sponsors across Canada.

Thank you to Asset TV for helping share the story, and thank you to everyone who continues to make waves for autism. ๐Ÿ’™

Honoured to see Global News feature Making Waves for Autism today and help share why this cause matters so much.

While the fundraising and awareness are incredibly important, this movement has always been about something deeper for me. It is a way to keep Tyler's memory alive and carry forward the vision that inspired it all.

Although Tyler never had the opportunity to see that vision come to life, his legacy is woven into everything Making Waves for Autism represents. Every participant, every kilometre, and every dollar raised helps continue a story that began with him.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey and helped turn one idea into a movement that is making a real difference for autistic families. ๐Ÿ’™

I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Jenna Dagenhart from Asset TVโ  to discuss some of the key issues shaping investor portfolios today.

We explored the growing concentration of U.S. technology stocks in the market, the importance of managing concentration risk, and how retirement planning continues to evolve as clients face longer life expectancies and changing financial realities. We also discussed strategies for helping investors stay focused on their long-term goals during periods of market volatility.

Thank you to Jenna and the Asset TV team for the opportunity to share my perspective.

May is Raymond James' dedicated RJ Cares volunteer month, where employees are encouraged to give back through charitable initiatives in their local communities. This year, since I serve on the Board of Directors for the KGH Foundation, I volunteered at the Foundation's 10th annual Day of Giving, which happened to coincide perfectly with the month of May.

The event was a tremendous success, raising more than $2.5 million in support of emergency care at Kelowna General Hospital. It was inspiring to see our community rally together around a cause that touches nearly everyone at some point in their lives. In fact, KGH recorded more than 101,000 emergency visits in 2024/25, making it the second busiest emergency department in British Columbia after Surrey Memorial Hospital and St. Paul's.

Beyond the fundraising success, the day was also a lot of fun and highlighted the incredible spirit within our medical community. One emergency physician even pledged to shave his head if donations exceeded $1.5 million. Safe to say, he's now sporting a brand new haircut! It was an incredible day of community, generosity, and support for an essential service that impacts so many people across the Okanagan.
