Let’s talk about Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI)!

Buying your first home? LMI can seem confusing, but here’s the lowdown:

What is it?
LMI is a one-time insurance fee that kicks in if your deposit is less than 20% of the property’s value. It protects the lender (not you) but helps you enter the market with a smaller deposit.

Key facts about LMI:

You can add it to your loan, though interest will apply.
