There isn't one answer that suits everyone, but there are generally a few options worth understanding.

🏡 One person keeps the home – This may involve refinancing the loan into one person's name, provided they can meet the lender's requirements.

🏡 Selling the property – The home may be sold, the mortgage repaid and any remaining funds dealt with as part of the property settlement.
