Australians are investors. But how well do we actually understand investing?

That was one of the questions we explored at the Australian Financial Review Super & Wealth Summit in Melbourne, where Global X ETFs was proud to be a Presenting Partner.

Global X CEO Alex Zaika opened the Summit by sharing findings from our inaugural GXIQ Investor Scorecard 2026, which surveyed more than 2,000 Australians to benchmark investor knowledge across the country. With a national average GXIQ score of 63 out of 100, the research shines a light on how investment knowledge differs across Australians and how it can shape investment behaviour.

Alex later joined industry leaders for the Platforms and SMSFs panel, while our GXIQ activation gave delegates the opportunity to engage with the research and put their own investment knowledge to the test.
