We sat down with Abigael Shepherd one of our Consumer Strategists to find out what happens inside and outside of work for her.

Abigael plays a pivotal role in seeing new partners take to the Nodifi platform and asset finance like ducks to water with her tips, insights and support in aligning for this lucrative stream.

Here’s a snapshot of life from Abi...

Q. What’s life like outside of work for you?

“Outside of work I love to spend time with my pooch, Pip. I've recently moved out of the Adelaide Hills and closer to the beach, which has been such a huge lifestyle change and I can't wait to spend the summer on the beach. “

Q. If you had one piece of advice for brokers/partners, what would it be?

“Communication! Pick up the phone and ask any questions. We're here to help, so being open about your clients full profile will get the best result for yourself and the client!”

Q. What are you most looking forward to in the new year?

“I can't wait to get back into pottery - I've had a few months not on the wheel and it's such a relaxing way to wind down after the buzz of the week.

Inside work, I'm really excited to see the growth in Nodifi with new analysts moving into the team and further develop my skills within the industry. I've started in the commercial space and am very excited to be able to offer further options for the clients.”

“Having been a broker for six years, I always wanted to diversify into asset finance but just found it too complicated and time consuming.

I must admit when I first met the Nodifi team I was a little sceptical because it all sounded too simple – but it really has been.

We’re pleased to announce our latest addition to the team, Daniel Scollo, State Manager VIC/TAS.

Having spent over five years as the Victoria partnership manager for Choice Aggregation Services, Mr Scollo isn’t new to the group.

Daniel will support brokers to write or refer asset finance deals, in addition to identifying opportunities to recruit asset finance brokers into the group.

General Manager, Jordan Mutton, mentioned Daniel’s extensive experience with Choice places him in a great position to support the network from day one: “Daniel was highly regarded during his time with Choice and we’re thrilled to have someone of his calibre rejoin the group.”

Last Friday the Nodifi team had a successful night at the FBAA Awards of Supremacy at Sea World. Dressed to impress in our sea odyssey costumes, we received not one, but two awards! 🏆 🏆

Chris Murray took out Finance Broker of Year – Commercial Asset and Equipment and Nodifi claimed the Finance Supplier of the Year award.

It was fantastic to see Chris and the broader team recognised for their hard work and dedication in supporting the Nodifi network and delivering a premium service for the brokers who rely on us.

Last week Erin Fitzgerald and Laura Lloyd were invited to attend the 2022 Leading Ladies Retreat in Byron Bay.

The Leading Ladies Program of Loan Market is a community of brilliant women building outstanding businesses who are committed to together fixing the gender bias in the finance industry and supporting women in their broking careers.

The retreat allowed us to hear from some incredibly inspirational business owners talking all things leadership and high performance with Stephanie Bown, navigating Human Resources with Carly Lloyd and stress resilience and finding your flow with Sharon Kolkka.

We also heard some powerful stories during the panel session from our very own Erin Fitzgerald, Mandy Grabovac from BOQ, Evelyn Clark from Everlend and Nicola Tucker from Good Finance.

Another cracking week for the Nodifi team! 👏

The Nodifi platform has once again been in the spotlight, this time at the PCF Group Commercial & Asset Finance Summit in WA.

Chris Sims, our Chief Product Officer, took guests through the Nodifi journey of how we got to where we are today and where the future is heading. This was also a fantastic opportunity to showcase some of the incredible things the team has been working on, as well as some of the new tools that we’ll be releasing soon.

Our WA State Manager, Peter Fullwood, took to the stage for the asset finance broker panel where he discussed all things asset finance and how the Nodifi platform can help you work smarter, not harder.

An incredible event and the team loved the opportunity to showcase how our agile platform and experienced support team enables brokers, dealers and referrers to diversify their finance offering and simplify finance.

Karen Goodrich from Goodrich Home Loans shared her recent experience with Nodifi:

"A long-term client of mine needed a car loan and so I submitted the deal via the Tick n Flick Application option. Although I’ve been broking for many years now, this was my first Asset Finance deal, so I was a little nervous about the process and how much benefit it would be to my client. I was so impressed at how easy the process actually was, and how we were kept in the loop all the way.

Once the loan had settled, I contacted my client to get her perspective on the process. She was really happy about the level of contact and the help that Kosta and the team gave her – and she’s loving her new car. Win Win!

Thanks for the help you gave us, Ali. We couldn’t have done our first deal without you, but the process is simple enough that we should be good to go from now on!"
