🦘 Thank you, Carol 🦘

‍🐨After more than 25 years of caring for sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife, Carol from our local Emerald Monbulk Wildlife Shelter is retiring.

💜Carol has dedicated countless hours, enormous compassion and unwavering care to helping our local native animals. Her contribution to our local community and our wildlife is truly immeasurable.

🥰We have proudly supported the Emerald Monbulk Wildlife Shelter since we opened in 2012, and over the years many of our wonderful customers have also given their time as volunteers to help Carol and the shelter care for wildlife in need.

🦘The shelter will continue, for now, to rehabilitate the animals currently in its care on site but will not be taking in any new animals.

🙏🏻From all of us in the community thank you, Carol, for everything you have done. Your dedication has made an incredible difference to so many animals and to everyone lucky enough to work alongside you.

We're so proud to see the wonderful way local community group Monbulk & District Men's Shed Inc has used the funds gifted to them by the family of the late Trevor Ricketts, who was the recipient of the Community Bank Monbulk & District's 2026 Ray Yates Community Award.

Thanks to the Ricketts family’s generous donation, the group created something truly special for community member Bonnie and presented it this morning at Monbulk Primary School

🎶HILLTOP MUSIC FESTIVAL THIS SUNDAY

🙌We love seeing passionate locals come together to create something that brings our community to life and Hilltop Music Festival Inc. is doing just that.

😍This year, a team of passionate, music loving locals has formed an entirely voluntary, not-for-profit association to deliver the Hilltop Music Festival with all profits being returned to support music education initiatives in public schools and community groups across our region.

🎸It’s about so much more than music. It’s about connecting young people across school boundaries, creating opportunities, nurturing a love of music and building a stronger community through something we can all share.

💛We’re proud to get behind an initiative that celebrates local talent, supports the next generation and brings our community together.
