A Day of Learning, Growth & Great Food 🍣

Today I had the opportunity to attend an exclusive training session with Commonwealth Bank, where we explored niche lending policies, emerging opportunities in the business lending space, and ways to better support Australian business owners with tailored finance solutions.

Continuous learning is a big part of what I do, and sessions like these help ensure I stay up to date with the latest lending solutions so I can provide the best possible outcomes for my clients.

After a productive afternoon of professional development, I treated myself to lunch at one of my favourite Japanese restaurants, Sushi Jiro. Known for its fresh, high-quality ingredients, interactive sushi train experience, and its blend of traditional Japanese flavours with modern dining innovation, Sushi Jiro has built a strong reputation among sushi lovers across Melbourne. Watching the chefs craft each dish with precision while enjoying beautifully prepared sushi is always a highlight.

Days like today are a great reminder that success is about balancing professional growth with taking time to enjoy the simple things along the way.

Another dream, another doorstep, so many memories to come 🤍

Today was a very special settlement day — handing over the settlement gift to this amazing couple as they officially became first home owners 🏡🔑

This journey started through a referral from a friend of mine, and when we first met, they had no clear direction on how to begin the process of buying their first home. They had previously spoken with a few mortgage brokers but still felt unsure and unsupported.

So we sat down face-to-face and had a thorough conversation about:
✔️ Their goals
✔️ Their lifestyle
✔️ Their financial position
✔️ What they truly wanted in a family home

From there, I guided them through:
• Government grants and concessions available to first home buyers
• Structuring their borrowing capacity correctly
• Securing a pre-approval with a major lender
• Reviewing shortlisted properties with CoreLogic reports
• Discussing the pros & cons of each property
• Assistance with offers and negotiations

And today… we settled on their very first family home ❤️

Moments like this are exactly why I love what I do — helping people feel educated, confident and supported through one of the biggest milestones of their lives.

Today was truly one of the most meaningful experiences for me and my family. We had the privilege of visiting the indigenous community of Sri Lanka, and it was nothing short of incredible.

Spending time with them gave us a deeper appreciation for their rich culture, traditions, and way of life that has been preserved for generations. It was a humbling reminder of how important it is to respect, protect, and learn from the indigenous communities who are the true custodians of the land.
