The government says the housing scheme is working. The numbers tell a different story.

First home buyer activity is still well below the targets being talked about, owner-occupier lending has fallen, and housing completions aren’t exactly painting the picture of a market suddenly fixed.

Saying a housing policy is working and seeing it reflected in the data are two very different things.

A year ago, I thought scaling meant adding more people. I was wrong.

Over the last 12 months we’ve grown our Dealify team by 25%, but income is up 38% and deals settled are up 41%.

More people can help you grow, but more revenue from a stronger, more efficient business is the goal.

I lead the NSW & ACT volunteer council, with a big focus on bringing brokers together, creating opportunities to learn and helping people continue to grow in their careers.

For me, it’s about helping lift the standard of the industry and making sure we’re continuing to create better outcomes for the clients and communities we work with.

We were proud to get behind a foundation doing important work for men’s mental health, with the Dealify team attending the recent Talk2MeBro Gala as a minor sponsor and donating a day out on our boat for the auction.

The final bid? An incredible $8,000 raised for the foundation!
