A few days on the road through Ravenshoe, Mt Garnet, down the Forty Mile, through Hughenden and across to Prairie and Torrens Creek.

It’s always worthwhile getting out on country and catching up with clients and people across the region. Great to see cattle looking exceptionally well and a strong body of feed across much of the country I travelled through. Plenty to be positive about.

A fair few kilometres covered, some spectacular country along the way, and a reminder of why we enjoy working with rural and regional businesses.

And after making the run back to Cairns today, I even managed to get home in time for the boys’ St Augustine’s Father’s Day assembly — a pretty good way to finish the trip.

Another great weekend at the Oak Park Races! Proud to support Fashions on the Field through Green Shoots Finance and spend the day with family, clients and friends.

It was a pleasure presenting prizes and seeing the incredible effort everyone put into Fashions on the Field.

Country race meetings are about more than just the racing—they bring communities together and showcase the best of regional Australia.

Another great trip out west visiting clients around Mt Surprise. A quick stop at Copperfield Gorge on the way through, where I could clearly see the black bream cruising around from the top.

One of the best parts of covering regional Queensland is getting to experience places like this while catching up with great people and businesses.

Made it back into Cairns with just 3 minutes to spare before my daughter’s dance performance — cutting it fine, but worth every kilometre.

A few days on the road through a few parts of God’s country visiting customers and catching up face to face. Great to see plenty of fuel in every town, with prices not much different to the bigger centres.

Smoke, rivers, cattle and sunsets — hard to beat this time of year out west. Safe travels to everyone out on the road.

Creeks flowing, country full of feed and cattle doing well. Pulled up here for a quick lunch stop and soaked it all in — doesn’t get much better than this out bush. 👌

Recently advised to be going to auction, “Valley of Lagoons” near Greenvale presents ~39,000 hectares of well-regarded breeding, backgrounding and finishing country, supported by strong water security from the Burdekin River system, reliable rainfall, and quality infrastructure already in place. It’s a scale and calibre we don’t see come up often in North Queensland and worth a closer look for anyone considering expansion or a long-term position in the north. Full details here:

Long weekend well spent at the Oak Park Race Track working bee.

A big few days – digging holes, cleaning up after the floods, and pouring a mountain of concrete. Some of it repairs, some of it improvements to make things better moving forward.

Hard work, but you couldn’t ask for a better time of year to be out there – the creek flowing clean and fresh, and those cool evenings around the fire.

Great to be part of the crew and enjoy a well-earned beer at the end of the day.

The Federal Government’s Economic Resilience Program is being delivered through major banks, offering up to 2 years interest-free loans for eligible businesses.

This is a targeted program, focused on critical supply chains — particularly:
