Join us in welcoming our newest member of the Financial Services department, Financial Advisor Nate Saner! 👏

Nate is a Xenia native, before moving to Columbus for three years following college and then returning to the Dayon area. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, with a minor in Economics from Wright State University. Nate spent two years in the banking industry with PNC Bank working in personal finances, before transitioning to the private bank side for a year with PNC Wealth Management and obtaining his securities licenses. He returns to Montgomery after his internship in 2022, bringing in his experience with lending, day-to-day money management, and private wealth management to the financial services team.

"I am people person; you will usually find me with friends or family outside of work hours. I am a fan of just about any sport out there, most notably the Cincinnati Bengals who will always find a way to get my hopes up. I try to stay active as much as possible, although learning to love running is easier said than done. My time in Columbus has inspired a new hobby of trying as many new restaurants as I can, one of the perks of not being a picky eater. I enjoy a good beer or bourbon, so breweries and distilleries are always a welcome stop. I always keep an eye on what concerts are upcoming, nothing beats live music."

📣EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT📣

Tanya moved around a lot as a kid but graduated from Dayton Christian High School. She married a Xenia Man and settled down in Xenia in 1995, and soon after began working for Kennedy’s Bible Bookstore both in the store and in the office. After taking some years off to be a stay-at-home mom of four, Tanya held various positions, including a teacher at Four Oaks Head Start, a supervisor for a department store, an administrative position for a wonderful non-profit organization called Marriage Resource Center and a financial administrative assistant for a local church. In 2017 she became part of the family at MII as a licensed agent.

And TODAY is her birthday!! 🥳🎂🎈

"Flowers make me happy. I can’t live without Jesus. I love spending time with family. There is ALWAYS room for ice cream, it makes anything better. I love camping. I’m a true gamer; card games, video games, board games… you name it and I’ll play! Long walks on a cool summers’ night put me in a delightful state of mind. I hate injustice. I strive to see the good in people & situations. Leggins… I don’t get it!? I have a thing for museums. I have a bad habit of buying herbal tea then never drinking it. I try to do my best to help others whenever possible and have to remember; 'You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.'"

Last Wednesday was Administrative Professionals Day and we treated our team of amazing women to a relaxing afternoon of pampering at Be Pampered Nail Spa of Beavercreek and late lunch at Submarine House. 💅🏼💛

Then a last hurrah at The Buck and Ear (no photos, just lasting memories). 🍻🦌👂🙏🏼

We’re so lucky to have all of these professionals working together for us to serve the communities of Xenia, Jamestown and Beavercreek!

Fifth-grade students in the XCS XTAR program have designed their own mini golf course in partnership with G.O.A.T. Golf, and the community is invited to come experience it.

📍 Xenia Preschool (425 Edison Blvd.)

Enjoy a 9-hole mini golf course, plus food trucks including Beach Brothers BBQ, Crumbl Cookies, Hey Sis! Let’s Drink, Lou & Crew’s, and What the Taco?

Admission is $3 per person (ages 7+) or $10 for a group of six. Cash only, with no sales after 6:45 p.m.

📣EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT📣

Lisa is a Xenia native and has been a part of the community all her life. She worked for a large medical group as a Receptionist over the last couple years. Lisa has an extensive background in business, accounting, payroll and over 35 years of customer service experience. Over the years, she has served on as Youth Director and an Administrative Assistant in her church for many years as well. She continues to be very involved in church ministry through Worship Team, youth teacher, etc. Lisa joined our tax team in January of 2022, meaning she has made it through FIVE tax seasons!

"I love spending time with my kids and family. I love God and am grateful for His mercy and love. I’m definitely a big fan of coffee & sugar free creamer. I love playing board games with friends and family. I enjoy many sports, especially football. I love helping people. I enjoy watching movies, crocheting, crafting and jewelry making in my down time."
