Homebuyers tend to focus on number 2! Interest rate is only 1/4 of the items that affect your monthly payment. But taxes, insurance and down payment are an important part of the equation too! 🧮

As a loan officer, rather than answering the question, “What can you afford?”, I prefer to ask “What payment are you comfortable with?” Then we can look at these 4 elements (principal, rate, taxes, and insurance) and find the best home and loan for you! 🏠
