Now THIS is an afternoon well spent.

Our People & Culture and Lending teams headed to the Rocky Hill Veterans Home & Hospital this week with 115 cannoli from Giuseppina’s Italian Bakery — made possible through donations from our employees’ dress-down days.

And what they got in return was even better: time with some pretty incredible veterans.

There were stories. There were laughs. There were plenty of cannoli. And when some veterans couldn’t make it to the gathering, our team brought the cannoli — and the visit — to them.

A little time. A little something sweet. A whole lot of meaning. ❤️

Huge shout-out to Giuseppina's Italian Bakery LLC for helping us make it happen — and, most importantly, thank you to the veterans who welcomed us in.

Backpacks, school supplies, music, activities — and a whole lot of community. 🎒❤️

We had such a great time joining HEDCO for its Back-to-School Community Block Party & Resource Fair, helping local students and families get ready for the school year ahead.

Octavia was joined by Bella, one of our summer interns, and Camrin, a student volunteer headed to Cheney Tech this fall. Together, they spent the day connecting with families, lending a hand and sharing how Dutch Point can be a resource along the way.

We loved seeing Bella and Camrin jump right in, too. Community involvement means even more when the next generation gets to experience what it looks like firsthand.

Thank you, HEDCO, for bringing everyone together for such a fun day — and reminding us that the point of showing up is the connections we make along the way. ❤️

Stela took the mound. We brought the cheering section. ⚾👏

Last night, the Dutch Point team headed to Dunkin’ Park for our annual night with the Hartford Yard Goats — and Stela got things started by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch!

From there, it was baseball under the lights, plenty of ballpark food, lots of laughs from the DATTCO Dugout Suite and one of those summer nights that goes by way too fast. 💙🧡

We look forward to this outing every year, but it’s never really just about the baseball. It’s about getting everyone together, cheering a little louder when one of our own takes the field, and making memories with the people who make Dutch Point what it is.

Because when you have a team worth cheering for, that’s the point. ⚾

🏆The votes are in... and we have a winner! 🏆

Over the past month, our branches and departments have filled Dutch Point with patriotic spirit, incredible creativity, and plenty of red, white, and blue as part of our Red, White & Dutch Point Challenge.

After counting every reaction across all of our social channels, we're excited to congratulate the Newington Branch as this year's winner! 🎉

From patriotic decorations and a festive welcome to a one-of-a-kind tribute to America's 250th birthday, the Newington team transformed their branch into a celebration of what brings us together.

At the heart of their display was a simple but powerful reminder:

Last night, we had the privilege of celebrating this year's scholarship recipients and the bright futures ahead of them. Surrounded by family and friends at our Wethersfield branch, we recognized an incredible group of students whose hard work, dedication, and ambition have brought them to this exciting milestone.

One year ago, we opened the doors to our flagship branch at 1269 Silas Deane Highway.

Since then, we've welcomed thousands of members, celebrated milestones, shared countless conversations, and helped people reach their financial goals—one interaction at a time.

What started as a new branch has become so much more. It's become a place where relationships grow, questions get answered, and every visit is another opportunity to make a difference.

Red, White & Dutch Point Spotlight: Lending Center
