Kevin Warsh is officially taking over the Federal Reserve…
And the housing market is paying VERY close attention.

Why?

Because the Fed heavily influences:
• mortgage rates
• inflation
• borrowing costs
• home affordability
• and the overall economy.

Some experts believe Warsh could push for lower rates faster than Jerome Powell did.

Others believe inflation is still too dangerous to cut aggressively.

Even mortgage expert Barry Habib has hinted that improving inflation data and Fed leadership changes could help mortgage rates move lower over time.

But here’s the important part:

👇 Mortgage rates DON’T directly follow the Fed Funds Rate.

They move primarily from the bond market and mortgage-backed securities.

So even if the Fed cuts…

Mortgage rates may not instantly crash.

But one thing is clear:

The market believes a major shift MAY be coming.

Some people believe a new Fed chair could push rates lower.
