Meet Michaela! Co-founder of Remuda Insurance Group and an agent specializing in equine and livestock insurance.

She was raised in the mountains of Colorado and now lives in Huntley, Montana. Michaela has spent years working alongside the horses, cattle, and people that make up the Western and agricultural industries.

After earning degrees in Agricultural Business and Agricultural Communications from the University of Wyoming (Go Pokes!) She went on to work at Billings Livestock Commission, coordinating horse and cattle sales and helping grow their online horse sale platform under the guidance of her mentor, Jann Parker. Today, she remains active in the cattle industry with Sokoloski Shorthorns, showing, fitting, and working cattle.

She’s proud to work alongside some of the industry’s leading horse sales while helping clients across the equine and livestock industry protect their investments. Her firsthand experience with livestock and their owners gives her a unique understanding of equine value, risk, and the importance of the right protection.

“I get to sit on the same side of the table as my clients, understand their operation, and build coverage that actually fits how they live and work.”
That’s what Remuda is all about.

Welcome Jennifer! We are so excited to have you on our livestock team!

Welcome! I thought it was time to officially introduce, or reintroduce myself.

I know I may be a familiar face to many of you, but for those I haven't had the opportunity to meet yet, I'm Jennifer Dwyer & I'm glad you're here!

West Central Illinois has always been home. My husband Nick, our daughter Maddox & I have officially planted our roots in Roseville, IL - home of Dwyer Cattle & Dwyer Cattle Services.
Together we run roughly 100 head of registered Simmental cattle, while also helping cattlemen & women across the country market their cattle.

Agriculture isn't simply what I do- it's been my heartbeat for 32 years of life. From the cattle industry to the swine industry, livestock has shaped who I am, the people I know, and the life I love. It genuinely fuels my fire.

That passion is what led me to become a licensed livestock insurance agent with Remuda Insurance Group. For me, this is another opportunity to serve the livestock community and give back to the people within it. Helping producers protect their investments they've worked so hard to build, and for many, the livelihood their families depend on.

So WELCOME to my page!

This is where I will be sharing where I am headed, what's happening in the livestock industry, updates, insurance information & resources - & plenty of cattle along the way.

Meet Nikki — SJR Gina Rey Von, owned by our own Kristen York.
Nikki made her mark in the show pen, including making the NCHA Open Futurity Finals in both the Limited and Intermediate with Kristen’s son. Her first foal is a yearling, with more foals on the way. We’re looking forward to seeing what the future holds for her offspring.
We know what goes into these horses, and why protecting them matters.
