May is full of meaningful moments, from Mother’s Day to graduation season, and it reminds us how quickly life moves and how connected our stories can be. This month, our team at Wallace Insurance is sharing a heartwarming example of just how small the world truly is.
Years ago, Megan Lewis was a second grader paired with a high school junior, Suzanne Koziol, for a class pen pal project. They exchanged letters about everyday childhood favorites, then life moved on and the notes were tucked away.
Thirty years later, Megan rediscovered those letters and looked up her old pen pal—only to realize Suzanne, now Dr. Suzanne Koziol Pugh, was the same doctor who delivered both of her children. Neither had known their connection stretched all the way back to a simple classroom assignment.
Stories like this remind us why relationships and community matter so deeply here in Weatherford and Mineral Wells. They’re at the heart of everything we do as a family-owned, faith-based Texas insurance agency.
