June gives us so many reasons to celebrate the good happening around us, and stories like this remind our team just how much kindness shapes strong communities.
At Louisa County High School in Virginia, a group of automotive students has turned their classroom skills into life‑changing support. Instead of repairing cars just for practice, they restore donated vehicles and gift them to single parents who need reliable transportation. Through a partnership with the nonprofit Giving Words, these students have helped donate more than 60 cars and repair over 260 — one garage door reveal at a time.
For recipients like Jessica Rader, a single mom of three, that car meant confidence, stability, and the ability to work full‑time. It's a beautiful picture of how one act of generosity can open doors for an entire family.
Stories like this inspire us as a family‑owned, community‑focused agency here in Weatherford and Mineral Wells. We love seeing young people leading with compassion and making a real difference.
