In February 2003, I began my career at Edward Jones. Previously, I worked on the State Farm National Catastrophe Team. In August 2004, I opened the first Edward Jones office in Villa Park. In 2005, my wife, Kate, and I moved our family to town. Today, I have a 34 second driving commute to the office. We have three children, Max, 16, Alex, 14, Alyssa, 11, and dog, Sandy. The experience I gained wor
king in the aftermath of natural disasters prepared me for a career where active listening, along with asking open-ended questions, are the hallmarks of earning trust. Keeping my roots here, combined with a conviction to my values, it’s no surprise, I take great pride in my business. I have the privilege of serving families and business owners as well as non-profit foundations. I am passionate about helping clients navigate some of life's biggest transition moments. Retirement planning, saving for college or managing a loved one’s estate are examples of where I have been called to help navigate clients’ financial direction. In the office, my administrative partner is Kelly Saurbaugh. We are dedicated to providing an ideal client experience. Our focus is to have clients feel understood, informed of market conditions and empowered while working to simplify their financial lives. I enjoy volunteering, serving and supporting many local organizations. Currently or in the past, to list a few, I have served or supported the Villa Park Chamber, Villa Park Rotary, Pirates Baseball, School District 45 and 88 Music Boosters, Easter Seals, Elmhurst Heritage Foundation, United Community Concerns, the Willowbrook HS Parents Association, St Peter’s Endowment Committee, Relay for Life, PADs and Feed My Starving Children. Lastly, I’m a BIG Chicago Cubs fan.
