New construction homes can still face appraisal challenges, especially when upgrades and builder pricing outpace recent comparable sales.

⚠️ Understand your deposit.
Before handing over earnest money, make sure you know when it's refundable and when it isn't.

Twenty-six years ago, Lee and I bought this little house in Georgia.

It wasn't our dream home.

It wasn't our forever home.

And honestly, it wasn't checking all the boxes.
