Why do I keep doing this to myself? 😅
Jersey hung up. Retirement tour, complete. Told myself I’d be done with school in 2024. Then I relapsed and signed up for my 2nd Master’s, Project Management at USC.
LeBron said he was done, came back, got another ring. Kobe talked retirement for years, kept balling till the wheels fell off. That’s me right now. With everything happening in AI, I couldn’t sit on the sideline. So I laced back up.
Started out going for a certificate. Quiet comeback. But that’s not how this works, if I’m back, I’m back to close strong. So now it’s the terminal degree, starting my DBA as I wrap at USC. For real this time. “This Is It.” 😂
West Side of Chicago to this. Never imagined I’d make it here, or have the chance to invest in degrees like these. When opportunity shows up, you rise to it, and stay grateful, because this access isn’t given to everyone.
