Taxes are due in two weeks! ⏰

If you haven’t filed yet, now’s the time to get things wrapped up.

A few things to consider:
• Make sure you’ve received all tax forms (W-2s, 1099s, etc.)
• Double-check your filing status and dependents
• Review contributions (IRA, HSA) that may still count for last year
• Confirm bank info for refunds or payments
• File an extension if you need more time

Waiting until the last minute usually creates unnecessary stress. So knocking it out now keeps things simple!

Wealth By Design in… Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷

We were here for a conference alongside other financial professionals, engaging in collaborative sessions and learning from insightful speakers.

We’re starting the year off right (in the heat!), setting clear goals, and gaining new tools to support a strong year ahead.

And the best part?
Time to connect and spend it together as a team.

We enjoy more plantains than ever before, spend time on the beach letting the pace slow down, and take in incredible artwork throughout Old San Juan.

Puerto Rico has a unique way of blending history, color, music, and creativity into everyday life.
It’s impossible not to feel inspired by it.

A quick year-end review NOW may save you from unnecessary stress later, here’s where to focus!

1. Double-check your tax situation
Make sure withholding and estimated payments line up so you’re not blindsided in April.

2. Use up any remaining benefits
For FSA funds, dental/vision allowances, or employer perks, if these expire, you lose them.

3. Revisit your spending and savings ratios
Look at the year’s cash flow and see where money actually went, not where you think it went.

4. Review retirement contributions
See whether you're on track to max out IRAs or workplace plans. Consider Roth IRA Conversions as well!

5. Evaluate year-end investment taxes
Think tax-wise with your investments. A quick portfolio scan may reveal losses to harvest or gains worth realizing before year-end.

Handle this now, and you won’t just “start” next year. You’ll enter it prepared, confident, and in control, free from the mental drag of unfinished business.

Now take care of it, and then enjoy the holidays knowing you did.

What’s the one thing that pushes you past your comfort zone? 😬

For us, it’s stepping into a Christmas party where we barely know anyone. That split second at the doorway when your brain whispers, “We could still bail…”

But here’s the truth: the fastest way to grow is to walk straight into the moments your mind tries to avoid.

When life hands you an unexpected opportunity to be spontaneous: take it.

Not because it’s easy, but because discomfort is the doorway to expansion.

And every single time, the same thing happens:

We walk out with new connections, meaningful conversations, and the reminder that the unknown rarely deserves the fear we assign to it.

(And let’s be real, between the spinach dip and the meatballs, the holiday food is a reward all on its own. 👀)
