Paddles, running shoes and community spirit. That's what the Wild River Dash is all about! 🌊🏃

Horizon Credit Union was proud to participate in Wild Hearts Idaho's annual Wild River Dash, a family-friendly paddle-and-run duathlon that raises funds to help provide safe and reliable transportation for girls participating in outdoor adventure programs.

We're grateful for opportunities like this to support organizations that help create life-changing experiences for youth in our communities. Thanks to everyone who made this event such a memorable day!

What a paws-itively awesome day at the Pooch Party! 🐾

Horizon Credit Union was thrilled to join pet lovers from across the community at Nampa Parks & Recreation/Harward Rec Center's annual Pooch Party, a day filled with dog swims, a 1-mile walk, pet-friendly vendors, contests, entertainment and plenty of tail-wagging fun. Best of all, proceeds from the event help support and improve dog parks in Nampa.

We loved meeting so many community members and their four-legged family members while celebrating a cause that helps create more spaces for pets and people to enjoy together. From the foam party to the splash zone, there was no shortage of smiles, slobbery kisses and unforgettable moments. 🐶🐾

Thank you to Nampa Parks and Recreation for hosting another fantastic event and to everyone who stopped by to say hello. We can't wait to do it all again next year!

Horizon Credit Union joined GRANCO Federal Credit Union, Gesa Credit Union, STCU and Solarity to donate $25,000 to the Moses Lake Police Department's K-9 program, helping fund the department's next police K-9.

This partnership is a powerful example of the credit union philosophy of people helping people in action. Together, we're proud to support a resource that helps keep Moses Lake and the surrounding communities safe.

🚨Fraud alert: Scammers are spoofing Horizon's phone number

We've received reports of scammers calling members from a phone number that appears to be Horizon Credit Union. These callers may claim to be from our fraud department and warn that an Apple Wallet or other digital wallet has been linked to your card.

The scammers then try to obtain your card information, online banking credentials or security codes.

Remember: Horizon will never call and ask for your online banking password, security codes or full card information.

If you receive a suspicious call:

-Hang up immediately

-Do not provide personal or account information

-Call Horizon directly at 800.852.5316 to verify the request

Helping students start the school year on the right foot is something we're always proud to support! 🎒💙

Horizon Credit Union volunteers recently joined Communities in Schools' Tools 2 Schools and Unity in the Community for their backpack stuffing events. We had a blast helping prepare supplies for local students and families as they get ready for a successful school year.
