🏡 Term of the Week: Loan-to-Value (LTV)! 🏡

Buying a home comes with a lot of new terminology, and my goal is to make it simple!

What is LTV? 🤔
Your Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio compares how much you’re borrowing to what the home is worth. In simple terms, it tells lenders how much equity you have in the property.

💡 Example:
🏠 Home Value: $400,000
💰 Loan Amount: $360,000
📊 LTV = 90%

Generally, a lower LTV can mean:
✔️ More loan options
✔️ Better interest rates
✔️ Lower mortgage insurance requirements (depending on the loan program)
