Voted Maine's Best CU for the past 4 years, and Best CU in Portland the past 4 years, as well. 'Local helping local' serving Southern Maine. Facebook Community Guidelines

As a member-owned cooperative, Town & Country Federal Credit Union is an active member of the communities we serve. We like to keep our members and the public updated about the things we do in the community, and often use social

media to get the word out. We also count on social media to communicate with the public about credit union matters. So, we have created the following guidelines on how we interact with the public via social media, and on the rules that apply to all content posted on our page. SUMMARY:
Our page, https://www.facebook.com/TownandCountryFCU?sk=wall, is public. This means that everything you post on our page is visible to the public without being a member of Facebook, and may be searched through Google or any other web search engine. For the purposes of these Guidelines, any content you post of our page, whether by post, comment, or otherwise, is referred to as the “post.”

When posting, please keep your posts relevant to the topic of the conversation, and be respectful of others at all times. Make sure that your posts do not infringe on anyone’s copyrighted works or other intellectual property. If you want to use an image, audio, video or text that you do not have a right to post on Facebook, make sure you get the owner’s permission before using it. If you know the content is fraudulent, do not use it. To protect your privacy and the privacy of others, do not include any personally identifiable information such as Social Security numbers, account numbers, phone numbers, mailing or e-mail addresses in any post. We may remove any post that includes personally identifiable information or that otherwise does not meet these Guidelines. However, because our page is public, we are not responsible for any content or comments expressed on it except the ones posted by us from our authorized Facebook account. This page is monitored by our employees, and while we will do our best to respond to your comments, we cannot guarantee a response. This is only a summary of our Guidelines. The important details are below. IMPORTANT DETAILS:

From time to time you may receive communications from us about a service inquiry or a financial need you described on Facebook or on another social media website. At Town & County, we believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect, whether in person or online, and expect the same from anyone who visits or posts on our page. We work hard to keep the content of our page interesting and relevant, and ask that all posts stay on point of what the discussion in the thread is about. We may delete irrelevant posts, including solicitations and identical or very similar posts by the same person (whether or not a different alias is used). While we understand that a healthy discussion may involve a reasonable critique, any negative, derogatory, or offensive comments about Town & Country, it members or affiliates will be removed. We may also remove any post that has any of the following content, and ban the author of such post from our page:
• Obscene, profane, indecent, lewd, sexually explicit, or pornographic, whether or not masked using symbols, intentional misspellings or characters;

Unauthorized use or distribution of another’s intellectual property, including copyrighted materials such as photographs, recordings, art, text, software, is strictly prohibited and may subject you to claims of infringement by the owner of such intellectual property.

In good company...Not only did Town & Country take 'Best Credit Union' in the 'Best of Portland' 2026 program (for the 4th consecutive year), but several of our partners took top honors, too. Congratulations to Portland Hearts of Pine 12/OC and Blake Hayes from Coast 93.1 - Portland, ME for taking 'Best of' in Entertainment/Activity, Local Musician/Band, and Radio Personality categories. If you are judged by the company you keep, we're proud to part of this outstanding group. Thank you to everyone who took time to vote. It is an honor.

Answering the 'first' bell! To help students in four of the largest school districts in southern Maine, we were the leading or one of the leading supporters of 'Back to School' drives. Collectively, we contributed $4K to support backpack and school supply drives partnering with Portland Maine Police Department Project G.R.A.C.E. South Portland (Maine) Police Department and S**o Grange. In total, nearly 600 students will benefit from these drives. Have an A+ year! 📚✏️
