NorthCountry Federal Credit Union NorthCountry serves northern Vermont, Clinton County in NY, and Coos and Grafton Counties in NH.

Our Story:
In 1950, the employees of General Electric in Burlington, Vermont organized a credit union where they could lend to and borrow from one another at rates better than those offered by commercial banks. Over time, that little financial cooperative has grown into one of Vermont’s largest and most innovative credit unions, and our commitment to providing people with the best possible value a

nd experience has stayed true. Near the end of 2001, we opened our doors to anyone in the community and expanded our commitment to include support for the non-profits that make Vermont a better place to live, work, learn, and play. Our employees are provided paid time off to volunteer at their favorite organizations, and funds are set aside each year for college scholarships, community events, and causes ranging from homelessness and disease prevention to hunger and animal welfare.

Looking for a playful new best friend? Meet Chevy!
This young guy loves attention, enjoys playtime, and has been winning hearts at Central Vermont Humane Society. While new things can make him a little cautious at first, Chevy adjusts quickly and is ready to share his outgoing personality with a family of his own.
Chevy would prefer to be the only feline in the home, but he may do well with respectful children and canine companions with proper introductions.

🎡 Day 7 of the Champlain Valley Fair is packed with incredible ways to experience the Fair!

🥫 Feed a Family Day kicks things off from noon to 2 PM! Your donations will support neighbors in our community—and earn you an incredible deal on Fair admission and a ride bracelet. Come have fun while making a meaningful difference!

🎓 It’s also College Night! College students receive FREE admission with a valid student ID.

💥 Tonight, the SOLD-OUT Demolition Derby returns to the Grandstand for an evening of roaring engines, hard hits and metal-crunching excitement!

All across the grounds, there’s so much to discover—from horse pulling and barrel racing to animal exhibits, crafts, art, cooking contests and culinary demonstrations—including today’s delicious shrimp scampi cooking demo! Be sure to explore all the shopping and unique finds inside the Shopping & Services Building, too!
