Are we missing the best part of life by rushing to the finish line?

We often focus so much on reaching our goals that we forget to enjoy the journey. The real magic happens in the space between our milestones. When was the last time you truly appreciated the process rather than just the outcome?

Imagine if we stopped rushing and paid attention to being present in the journey. Your life could become richer and more meaningful, exactly as it is.

Worth thinking about. Share your thoughts or tag someone who needs this reminder today!

I used to think being stubborn was a strength.

Sometimes it is.

Sometimes it's just refusing to change.

One lesson that's helped me:

Fail fast. Fail cheap.

Try things. Learn quickly. Adjust.

Because persistence isn't about doing the same thing forever.

It's about staying committed to the goal while remaining flexible about the path.

Are you asking the right questions?

Drop a 🔥 if you believe wisdom starts with better questions and data shows it!

Most of us grow up learning the norms of our culture, but the real growth happens when we question those norms 🤔

Instead of seeking all the answers, focusing on asking smarter questions helps us become genuinely wise. It’s about questioning the norm and understanding when to push back or adapt.

Think about the edge cases in your life, do you recognize when to disengage from the default?

Asking better questions helps you navigate those gray areas more confidently.
Worth thinking about.

What’s a question you’ve recently asked yourself that changed your perspective?

Loss pushes you into unfamiliar territory.

Between who you were...
and who you're becoming.

Most people think resilience means getting back to normal.

I don't.

I think resilience is learning how to move forward as someone new.

Loss changes you.

Not just because of what disappears…
but because of what it forces you to become.

Sometimes you lose something you deeply loved.

But if you pay attention, you may also discover something new taking shape in its place.

Not better.
Not worse.

Just different.

Resilience isn’t about never failing, it’s about how quickly your team bounces back.

Drop a 🔄 if your team’s adaptability has saved the day before.

So many leaders focus on plans that are set in stone, but the real secret is building a team that thrives when things change.

The best strategies are guesses and things will shift. If your team is aware, adaptable, and comfortable with uncertainty, you’re already stronger.

The key? Cultivate a culture that scans for risks and adjusts on the fly. That’s resilience in action.

Are you ready to shift your mindset?

Nobody needs another person pretending they have life figured out.

What helps people is honesty.

The mistakes.
The struggles.
The lessons you learned the hard way.

Sometimes wisdom looks less like giving advice…
and more like truly listening.

What if burnout isn't about doing too much , it's about managing your networks wrong?

In this episode of The Long Strange Trip, I sit down with Glenna Crooks former senior advisor to Ronald Reagan, Merck executive, and author of The Network Sage to talk about the hidden "pit crews" running our lives, the power of sitting in the unknowing, and why your ghost networks still shape your decisions today.

This one's worth a second listen.
