Doug & Salina Jones, have always been kind to me and my family. Doug had a great sense of humor, and could banter with the best of them. He always would have just the right thing to say, to highlight his perception of my superpowers (ADHD Hi Def 8K). Behind all of that he was passionate about his family, faith, employees, and policyholders.
His wonderful wife Salina, helped me with my office procedures and processes, when no one else would.
Doug asked me tons of questions about music, guitars, & bands. I was so jealous of him that he was around when Nirvana took off. I tried to to help Doug and Salina with finding a guitar and learning to play it. It turns out Salina is a better teacher of process and procedures, than I am at teaching folks how to play guitar.
Doug restored old video arcade machines and knew how to program the EPROMs and burn new chips in his restored games. He had a remarkable attention to detail. I would always ask Doug to find me a Tempest Arcade game. But it seems I was always to broke when I started out to be able to get one.
I will always remember Doug's kind words when I started out as a new market Agent. I was struggling to pay bills, taxes, and staff. My wife was sick with cancer. I was in a difficult spot. Doug told me in a much more polite way than I remember it; "When you going through hell, don't stop walking".
Doug has walked through it all, and has ascended to glory.
Peace be with the Jones family and all those touched by Doug's grace.
