Put these white birch LED lights up last Thursday during preparation’s for Thanksgiving dinner. Didn’t expect to have them covered with snow about a week later winter wonderland at night.

“Inventors, Innovators and Intellectual Properties” is our next Business Workshop on November 6.
Bryce Kloster has filed more than two dozen patents for the company he co-owners with twin brother Tyler, Karakoram, a split-snowboard manufacturer in North Bend. He’s joined on an all-star panel including chemist and patent expert Karen Geahigan, and global patent and trademark attorney Christopher Guinn.
This program is brought in part by SnoValley Innovation Center, a new nonprofit started here to support emerging and transformational businesses through a unique partnership with the Pacific Lutheran University School of Business.
Doors open at 11:30 am, program 12 -1 pm. In the West Coast’s only Umpqua Community Room, 146 West Second, North Bend.
