If you had to describe this year in one word, what would it be? 🤔

For many people, it’s “stressful.” But here’s something reassuring: the housing market has been relatively steady. 🏡

Home prices have remained fairly stable, inventory is only about 2% higher than last year, and mortgage rates have stayed generally within the 6–7% range since late 2022.

We all know that weekends tend to go by fast, but how does a 3 day weekend go by even faster?

Olivia and her Redwings team kicked off Friday Eve with a home game. I absolutely LOVE when these girls get fired up and celebrate on the court.

Saturday Olivia was babysitting so after Jax and I dropped her off, we went to the lake for some sunset photos. The sky was beautiful and absolutely perfect for some photos.

Sunday Jax and I did a movie night and FINALLY watched Minions vs Monsters. I don’t know what it is about these goofy yellow characters, but the laughs were on point.

Monday I watched a reel that showed how to make knock off Thin Mints. All you do is melt some Andes Candies and dip ritz crackers in them and put them in the freezer. The do taste like the original and now that we have this knowledge, we will never be without that tasty treat.

The last week of summer vacation meant we crammed as much into the days as we possibly could.

Jax headed up north by my parents to fish with Papa and the fun and fish were on point.

Olivia and her girlies had been planning a concert night for weeks and it finally happened!

While the girls were rocking out in Chicago, the boys and I headed up to La La La Lambeau for a preseason game. They were focused on the game and I was doing some serious people watching.
