The Federal Reserve raised short term interest rates on Wednesday. Is that good, bad or maybe you don’t really care.

It was good for rates yesterday but today is another day.

Played golf in an outing for a great cause yesterday benefitting single mom’s. Fellowship Housing does great work. Currently they have 60 moms and their kids in 60 locations around the area. They are required to put in time and effort to follow the program. The success rates is amazing for those that choose to stay and grow from@the program.

Was invited to play in the Fellowship Housing golf event today at Makray Memorial Golf Course. What a great cause. They raised a bunch of money for helping single mothers get on their feet with stable living arrangements for their children and help them learn to budget. A two year program that they must participate in otherwise it rarely works. Love this as a pro life Christian, that there are helpful people like those at Fellowship Housing that help single moms find a way to make it and develop strong life habits for them and also and maybe more importantly, their kids.

Won closest to the pin on the 17th hole from 200 yards with a 6 iron with a helping wind. Ironically, since I rarely drink anymore, the prize for winning it was four b**rs and an hour of b**r tasting at a place in Arl Hts.

Activity is way up. Seeing more and more contracts being finalized and also we are doing a lot of pre approval letters as well.
I am available over Labor Day weekend if you need your pre approval letter this weekend.

Strong labor report (not sure you can really believe this) has rates retreating a little bit but we are still in a “floating” mode for the time being.
