If you even vaguely support the Coastal Commission, just read how good intentions turned into one man's 26-year power-fiefdom followed by a history of bribery to pay to get any permits done. It's still using it's arrogance to blunt human progress of any kind, especially housing, but it's finally being checked. It needs to be stopped and limit only to protecting public access to our coasts, which was the original intent.

For more than 50 years the Coastal Commission has superseded most local and state rules affecting housing and land on the coast — until now.
