REST. RENEW. REJOICE!

Our Health & Wellness Pampering Day was truly transformational!

Our senior women enjoyed fellowship, learning, laughter, self-care, and pampering. Keynote speaker Dr. Suzanne Afflalo reminded us to care for our bodies, make time for ourselves, protect our peace, release negativity, and embrace those who uplift and support us.

The day also included a delicious lunch, gifts, and visits with our wonderful health and wellness vendors. It was a blessed day filled with smiles, fellowship, and renewed mind, body, and spirit!

A heartfelt thank-you to our dedicated Hospitality ladies, community partners, and vendors:

Black Nurses Association
Joiful Creations
Dosa Teas
Blessed Pressed Juices
Mary Kay
California Beauty College

We are grateful to everyone who made this memorable day possible!

📸 Enjoy our photo recap and share in the joy! REST. RENEW. REJOICE!

The Mt. Zion Hospitality Committee is overjoyed to share that our Health and Wellness Pampering event scheduled for Saturday, October 24th is at MAX CAPACITY!

This special day was thoughtfully created to encourage our senior women to pause, refresh, connect, and care for themselves while enjoying an uplifting day of health, wellness, pampering, fellowship, and community.

Registered guests will enjoy an opening keynote message from Dr. Suzanne Afflalo, a family medicine physician, followed by pampering breakouts for mini facials, chair massages, manicures, and relaxing in the Zen meditation room. Guests will also enjoy visiting with our health and wellness vendors and the SD Black Nurses Association, who will provide health checks.

Lunch will be provided as the guests fellowship with one another. We will conclude this special day with gifts for each registered guest, donated by Loews Sea Spa Coronado. We are looking forward to a day of Rest, Renew, and Rejoice. "This is the day that the Lord hath made, and we will be glad and rejoice in it." Psalm 118:24. Thank you, Mt. Zion Hospitality Committee - you are a blessing to Mt. Zion!
