Tomorrow, October 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., CPS IBEW FCU is bringing Coco Leche Chocolatier food truck to our Camden Branch parking lot (1002 Camden St.) for Member Appreciation Day.

As our way to say thank you to our members and their families, this treat’s on us! Enjoy funnel cakes, fried cheesecake, fried Oreos, mangonadas and more. 🍓

🚨 Member Safety Announcement: Protect Yourself from "Jugging"🚨

Have you heard of jugging? Criminals watch people leave banks, credit unions, and ATMs after they withdraw cash. Then the criminals follow them, sometimes for miles, and wait for a chance to grab the money from the person or from their car. 🚗💨

A few simple SAFETY TIPS can make all the difference:

🔒 Keep it out of sight. Put cash and envelopes away before you walk outside.
👀 Look around. Notice anyone watching or sitting in a parked car.
🚫 Don't leave cash in your vehicle, even for a quick stop.
🪞 Check your mirrors. Watch for a car that stays behind you through several turns.
💡 Trust your instincts. If something feels off, it probably is.

Think you're being followed? Don't confront the person and don't drive home. Go to a police station or a busy, well-lit place and call 911. If you can, give the dispatcher the car's make, model, color, and license plate.

💙🧡 GREAT NEWS – DIGITAL BANKING IS BACK!

We made additional headway today and are happy to share that CPS IBEW Federal Credit Union Home Banking and our Mobile App are now available!

While we are not yet 100% complete with all transaction processing and reconciliation, we have made significant progress and will continue working through the remaining items.

⚠️ Please keep in mind: Because processing is still being completed, you may continue to see changes to your account activity and balances as remaining transactions are posted and reconciled.

Have a Question About Your Account?

Now that digital banking is available, we encourage you to contact us through the secure messaging service in the Mobile App or Home Banking.

We have additional team members available to respond to secure messages, so you may receive assistance more quickly through messaging than by calling the credit union.

💙🧡 SYSTEM RESTORATION UPDATE – WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS!

We are pleased to share that the CPS IBEW Federal Credit Union team continues to make significant progress toward restoring normal operations.

As of today, we have successfully processed:

✅ ACH files
✅ Payroll files
✅ Share draft/check files
✅ Transfer files

These files have been processed through today.

Our next step is processing the accumulated debit card transactions, which we are currently waiting to receive.

Tomorrow, our team will also begin entering and processing the teller transactions that were completed manually while our system was unavailable.

What About Mobile & Home Banking?

We know everyone is anxious to regain access to the mobile app and home banking.

Our plan is to complete the necessary transaction processing and reconciliation before mobile and home banking are turned back on. We want the information you see when you log in to be as complete and accurate as possible.

⚠️ Please remember: As additional transactions are processed, your account balance may continue to change. Please continue keeping track of transactions you made during the outage and allow our team time to complete the processing and reconciliation.

We Can See the Finish Line!

We know this has been an incredibly challenging and frustrating experience for our members.

Please continue to be patient with our team as we work through these final stages and navigate toward the finish line.

We are committed to completing this process carefully and accurately.

⚡ IMPORTANT WEEKEND UPDATE

We received an encouraging sign this morning—CPS IBEW Federal Credit Union was able to reconnect to the Sharetec environment.

However, we are NOT yet back to normal operations. Sharetec currently has us in the required validation process, and the transaction files accumulated during the outage have not yet been processed.

PAYROLL & TRANSACTIONS: We know today was payday for many of our members. Payroll/direct deposits, ACH transactions, checks/share drafts, ATM activity and debit card transactions may still be waiting to process.

Once Sharetec releases our environment, our team will begin working to bring transaction activity current.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: When processing resumes, several days of transactions may begin posting. Deposits and withdrawals may not all post at the same time.

Please do not assume the first balance you see when service returns reflects all outstanding transactions. Continue keeping track of purchases, withdrawals, checks and automatic payments made during the outage.

NEED TO PAY A BILL? If your biller allows payment directly from your checking account, you may be able to initiate an ACH payment using your CPS IBEW FCU routing and checking account numbers instead of your debit card.

Please remember that the ACH payment may not immediately appear on your account while our processing is unavailable. Keep sufficient funds available and do not submit duplicate payments.

💙🧡 Our team will continue monitoring the restoration process throughout the weekend and is prepared to begin processing and reconciliation as soon as Sharetec allows us to proceed.
