Myth: You should never give up a 3.5% interest rate ❌

Truth is, a low rate does not automatically mean things are working financially.

We are working with clients right now who have a beautiful home and a great rate, but they are carrying over $100,000 in credit card and auto loan debt that is draining them every single month.

By selling, using their equity, and downsizing into a more manageable home, they are able to wipe out $80,000 in debt and finally get some breathing room financially. Even with a slightly higher mortgage rate on the new home, the numbers still work in their favor.

The payment difference might only be $200 to $500 a month, but the lifestyle difference is everything.
