Just two days away! Join us Tuesday, June 2, at 11 a.m. for a special ribbon cutting celebrating Leadership Saginaw County’s Class of 2026 legacy project at Emmaus House-Saginaw ✂️

This year’s class selected Emmaus House after learning more about the organization’s incredible impact during People Helping People Day. Their project supports important improvements to the property, including updates to the Morrow Center, exterior enhancements, signage, and facility repairs.

Emmaus House has been serving women since 1987, providing a safe and supportive environment for those transitioning from incarceration or rehabilitation.

I’m no gardener, but I can certainly pull some weeds! Today I spent a couple hours weeding to ensure Emmaus House-Saginaw is ready for the ribbon cutting. The ladies at the house, Leadership Saginaw Class of 2026, & Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce would love to see you there on Tuesday, June 2, at 11am 😊

Inspired by Emmaus House’s mission of supporting women transitioning from incarceration or rehabilitation, this year’s Leadership Saginaw County class selected the organization for meaningful facility and property improvements. The project includes updates to the Morrow Center, exterior enhancements, signage, and repairs that will continue supporting women in our community.

Since 1987, Emmaus House has helped more than 1,200 women rebuild their lives through safe housing, support, and compassion.

Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce Community Impact Day on Wednesday was filled with high winds & chilly weather, but that didn’t stop all the volunteers from showing up to help improve our community! What a wonderful experience to see so many people come together for a common goal.
