⚠️ TAX DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JULY 15, 2020⚠️

The U.S. government will postpone the April 15 tax-payment deadline for millions of individuals, giving Americans an additional 90 days to pay their 2019 income-tax bills in an unprecedented move intended to ease the economic pain inflicted by the coronavirus.

The IRS, using authority under President Trump’s national-emergency declaration, will waive interest and penalties as well, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said at the White House on Tuesday. The delay is available to people who owe $1 million or less and corporations that owe $10 million or less, he said.

If you do not owe taxes, this does NOT apply to you. If you are expecting a tax refund, this does NOT apply to you. However, I encourage you to file your taxes as soon as possible to avoid any delays.

4/5 ways to maximize your refund check. LOSE IT! What would you do if debtors snatched up your entire check and you got nothing back? Oh, nothing. Life would go on. Take your money and open a retirement account or even a savings account. Even if you know absolutely nothing about investing, you can still fund the account and let the money sit there until you’re further educated. Refund checks aren’t forever but you can reconfigure them to be.

2/5 ways to maximize your refund check! Business owners, please legitimize your business! Set your business up as an LLC and hire yourself, trademark your name, get a professional logo and website. Go out and have your products professionally photographed or buy a nice camera. All of these things set you far ahead of others who offer what you do. If you’re ahead, you get seen first. Visibility = Money. McDonalds tastes mediocre at best but there’s ALWAYS one visible.

1/5 ways to maximize your refund check! If you have less than perfect credit, go down to your local credit union for a secured loan! How does this work? You give them $1,000 and in turn they give you a $1,000 loan. Keep the “loan” in a savings account and let them auto draft monthly. After a year, you can pick up your $1,000 AND you’ll have a perfect payment history on a loan for twelve months that reflects on your credit.

Dear Taxpayers,

With February 15th quickly approaching, the IRS will soon be releasing refunds for taxpayers with Additional Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Credit. This year February 15th falls on a Saturday and Monday the 17th is a Federal holiday.

Because of the way the calendar 📆 falls this year and the multiple steps the government must go through to release this huge 💰 funding, we are expecting that refunds will not be received at the bank and released for disbursement to taxpayers until the latter part of next week.

Please remain PATIENT with the IRS and your trusted Tax Professional...the 💰 is ON THE WAY! 🙌🏾

Every year, we see these types of INACCURATE posts going around. If it’s not directly from the IRS, don’t believe it. The IRS does not publish a refund release date calendar.

The best way to track your refund is to visit the IRS website and use the “Where’s My Refund” tool 🛠 .

Also, if you have already filed your taxes and you received the Earned Income Tax Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS WILL NOT PROCESS your return until 2/15/2020! Please be patient with the IRS.
