A great community idea. Three organizations ready to support it. And $6,000 to help bring it to life.

Richwood Bank is proud to partner with the Armed Forces Financial Network (AFFN) and the Association of Military Banks of America - AMBA to support Celebrate the Heroes Among Us, coming to Richwood on October 3.

Through the AFFN Matching Grant Program, AFFN and AMBA each contributed $1,500, and Richwood Bank matched those funds dollar-for-dollar—turning that partnership into $6,000 to support the event.

The free community celebration will include a touch-a-truck experience, opportunities to meet military service members, law enforcement, fire and EMS personnel, plus complimentary food and refreshments.

Behind this great community idea are people who have put in the work to make it happen.

Thank-you to Gail DeGood Guy and the many volunteers who have planned a day dedicated to celebrating our veterans, active-duty military members, law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS professionals and other community heroes.

These are people who show up for our communities every day. We're grateful for the opportunity to partner with AFFN and AMBA to help Gail and her team create a day when our community can show up for them.
