E-bikes, e-scooters, and other micromobility devices are becoming a go‑to choice for quick, easy transportation, especially for younger riders. Ohio law doesn't require a driver’s license or any other specialized license to operate an e-bike or micromobility device; however, it’s still important to know the rules and ride smart.

Whatever and wherever you’re riding, always:

- Keep a safe speed and give space, especially on trails
- Start with the motor off and brakes engaged
- Leave extra room for stopping around other vehicles
- Be cautious downhill and on tight turns, added weight can mean added speed
- Follow all rules of the road and BE PREDICTABLE
