Safety Reminder

Now that good weather appears to be here to stay, we would like to remind our citizens of an issue we would like to address. Pursuant to City ordinance 351.03(A)1, it is illegal to block the sidewalks with your motor vehicle. The sidewalks are there for pedrestrians and small children on bicycles and it is counter productive for them to have to enter the roadway to circumvent a vehicle. Officers will be watching for these type of violations. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe for everyone.
