Buying a home often means moving costs and new expenses right away. A temporary buydown, paid for by the seller or builder, lowers your mortgage rate for the first 1 to 3 years, then moves up to your full rate.

NOTE: Qualification is required. Additional program restrictions apply. Temporary buydown options require a portion of interest paid in advance and collected at closing which will be held in escrow and will cover a portion of the monthly payments for the selected buydown term. Not available on all programs, such as most bond products, reverse products, etc. Other exclusions may apply. 3/2/1 temporary buydowns are not eligible on all programs. Conventional buydowns to $3M and up are available on select products. Program rates, and terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. Reach out to a loan officer.
