🏈 Friday Night Lights are back in Portage! 🏀🏐⚽🥎🎾🏃

Samuelson Insurance is proud to support Portage High School- Portage Indiana and the incredible student-athletes who represent our community.

While Friday nights bring the excitement of football season, our contribution is about much more than what happens under the lights. It’s about helping build a stronger athletics program as a whole — supporting all of the young men and women who proudly represent Portage.

Whether it’s on the fields, courts, courses, tracks, mats, or in the pool, strong athletic programs help build more than great athletes. They help build better teammates, stronger leaders, and young people who understand the value of hard work, commitment, and perseverance.

We’re proud to invest in Portage Athletics and, more importantly, in the students who will carry those lessons with them long after their playing days are over.

🍎📚 Tomorrow is finally the first day of school for Portage! 🚌✏️

After the August 11th storm caused widespread damage and power outages throughout our community, the start of the school year may be a little later than planned — but we’re excited to see our students, teachers, and staff heading back to the classroom tomorrow! ❤️

A huge thank you to all of the teachers, administrators, staff, families, and everyone behind the scenes who worked through a challenging couple of weeks to help make the start of the school year possible.

Wishing all of our Portage students and educators a safe, exciting, and successful first day tomorrow! Here’s to a great school year ahead! 🎉🏫📚

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a week since the storm brought so much of our area to a standstill. As Northwest Indiana continues to clean up, recover, and get back to normal, it’s great to see our local businesses reopening their doors! ❤️

As you’re out and about, please keep our local small businesses in mind and show them some support.

☕ Stop by Beyond Borders Cafe in our Downtown Promenade, grab a delicious drink, and enjoy some much-needed air conditioning!

🎶 Head over to The Social Goat downtown for an evening of entertainment, good company, and a chance to unwind.

As Samuelson Insurance celebrates 100 years in Portage, we’re honored to give back to the organizations that help preserve the history of the community we call home.

We were proud to present a donation to the Portage Community Historical Society, along with a framed Mitch Markovitz print created for our centennial celebration. We hope this special piece serves as a reminder of the rich history and strong community spirit that make Portage such a wonderful place.
