Your report helps local, state, and federal officials understand the extent of the damage and determine what resources may be needed to help our communities recover.

More volunteers keep coming into city hall to sign the waiver and get on the call list to help clean up yards.
The city of Portage has been recruiting experienced volunteers who can help seniors, residents who have disabilities, and residents who are in financial distress get their yards clear of downed trees and cleaned up, and we've had volunteers coming through since we've launched this program. We're thankful for all of them.

Huge THANK YOU to the team at PolyJohn Enterprises in Hammond for coming to Portage this morning to drop off a lot of tarps. Their team delivered to our Street Department, Fire Department, and the Bonner Center. We will be offering tarps today as well as the cases of water we got from Meijer in the parking lot behind the Police Station from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
