Neighborhood Community Federal Credit Union NCFCU is the oldest Credit Union in Nebraska, having been established on April 24, 1928. NCFCU switched to a Community Charter Credit Union on August 22, 2003.

Our Field of Membership is persons who Live, Work, Worship or Attend School in Douglas or Sarpy County, in Nebraska and Pottawattamie County, in Iowa. Neighborhood Community Federal Credit Union originally opened in 1928 as the Post Office Employees Federal Cooperative. The shares in NCFCU are federally insured to at least $250,000.00 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government. "Not for Profit, Not for Charity, But for Service"
