Big news for buyers! Loan limits have increased for 2026, which means more flexibility and more opportunity for qualified buyers.

FHA loan limits are now up to $541,287, and VA loan limits have increased to $832,750. This means that buyers may be able to purchase more home without changing loan programs, increasing their down payment, or reworking their entire plan.

As a Highlands Loan Officer, I always remind clients that higher limits don’t mean you should stretch — but they DO mean you have more options.
