Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the courage, dedication, and selfless love that defines those who served.

Here in Hawaii, that spirit of service runs deep in our community, and we don’t take it for granted.

From our UHA ohana to yours, we honor their memory today and every day.

On May 12, five UHA associates showed up for our Community Volunteerism event at the Salvation Army Kauluwela Corps at 296 N. Vineyard Blvd.

The mission was simple: pack weekend meals for keiki at Kauluwela, Likelike, and Royal Elementary Schools. They rolled up their sleeves and got to work. 320 meals packed in just 1 hour.

This program runs 40 weeks a year to keep kids fed throughout the entire school year. And honestly? We're already counting down to when we get to go back in September 2026.

“Better Health. Better Life” is not just something we say. It's something we show up for, one step at a time.

Mahalo to the Salvation Army Kauluwela Corps for the incredible work you do every single day, and for welcoming our team with open arms.

Six weeks of movement, community and aloha.

Since 2020, UHA has proudly supported the Elite Resolution Challenge hosted by Elite Parking, an annual six-week wellness experience built around movement, team connection, and giving back to the community.

Year after year, the challenge grows. And so does the proof that when people move together, the whole community benefits.

Better health is always better together.

Are you joining the next challenge?
