We were proud to sponsor the University of Hawaiʻi Shidler College of Business's Recent Alumni event series for the second time last week. It was exciting to host a Yoga & Sip event featuring yoga instruction by Jessica Yuhara and matcha from Matcha Pop.

Mahalo to Ronsan Mendoza, Financial Advisor and College Unit Director, for sharing his experience at Northwestern Mutual Hawaii, and to Cade Amine, Shidler Class of 2026 and Financial Advisor, for speaking about earning his securities licenses during his internship. It was wonderful to meet so many talented Shidler students.

Congratulations as well to Alicia Tokiwa and Kyle McMullen, the winners of our lucky draw. Thank you to Bianca Mordasini, Daralyn Komo, and Jennifer Lieu for your hard work putting this event together.

We recently bid farewell to our Office Manager, Skye Forsman, with a potluck celebration as she prepares for her move to the mainland. During her time with us, Skye oversaw our office expansion and made a lasting impact on our team and workplace.

This past weekend, I was proud to go "Over the Edge" once again for Special Olympics Hawaiʻi!

I rappelled 40 stories, or 400 feet, down the side of the Hyatt Regency Waikīkī Beach Resort & Spa in support of Special Olympics Hawaiʻi athletes. I was honored to represent Tea Drop 808 once again, and together our team raised more than $22,000 toward the cause. Collectively, the event raised more than $171,000 to support Special Olympics Hawaiʻi and its incredible athletes.

Mahalo to everyone who donated, cheered us on, and came out to support such a meaningful cause. Your generosity helps create opportunities for athletes across Hawaiʻi to thrive both on and off the playing field.
