In just two days, our associates spent their lunch hours assembling 200 backpacks in support of Helping Hands Hawaii's Ready to Learn initiative, which helps equip local students in grades K-12 with essential school supplies for the upcoming school year. Agency partners and customer service representatives are central to the insurance industry, and it’s always worthwhile to take time to reconnect and show our appreciation. Last week, we did just that, gathering at Off The Wall Craft Beer & Wine in Honolulu for an evening of good food, refreshing drinks, and even better company. These get-togethers give us the chance to build new connections, deepen long-standing relationships, and strengthen our shared commitment to the customers we serve.

In preparation for , our associates are joining a meaningful tradition shared by families and communities across Oʻahu by using a part of their lunch hour this week to make ti leaf lei. Each lei helps the City and County of Honolulu fulfill their promise of adorning every grave at Punchbowl, honoring the servicemembers laid to rest there.

We spoke with Leilani D. from our Legal department, who co-hosted this event in our Honolulu office. We’re proud to be part of this community effort and hope to continue making it a FICOH tradition.

This , it’s all about luxury and purpose as we take a look back at the FICOH team members who attended last month’s Aloha United Way Women United’s Chocolate, Champagne & Couture for a Cause event. Our very own Yvette Barradas (center) sits on the board and is part of the team whose mission is to advance economic mobility and opportunity for women in Hawaiʻi. 🥂🍫✨

The event is Women United’s biggest fundraiser of the year and brings together community leaders to support programs that help women and families thrive.
