The world lost a hero. Earlier this month, we celebrated our annual golf outing hosted by the The Peppler Agency. Once again, Wayne Elliot and 360 Flood and Fire were major sponsors for the dogs of Detroit Dog Rescue.

We celebrated with Wayne and his wife that day, because that same week is also his birthday.
Sadly, just days after our golf outing, an event Wayne looked forward to every year, he passed away unexpectedly.

Our whole team is devastated. Wayne was “our guy”. He was a champion for and always there for us. He was just the best man. A man of integrity, honesty, and kindness. His smile was as big as his giving heart. Last week Wayne was laid to rest, beside him was his golf outing memorabilia chip.

We do our work for the dogs of Detroit, but we also do this day after day, because guys like Wayne put their belief in a better future for the dogs in Detroit. His legacy lives in our positive outcomes.

We plan to honor Wayne Elliot in our play area this fall, but we know Wayne would want every dog to have a treat in his honor.

So, this week, let’s all be like Wayne. In Wayne’s memory, please help us by ordering one pack of dog treats from our Amazon Wish List. Each time a package comes it will be like a little “hello” from Wayne to our dogs.
