This past weekend, Horizon Credit Union was deeply honored to receive the Heart of the Route Award at the Meals on Wheels of Greater Spokane County Cooking for a Cause Gala. 💙

While awards are never why we serve, this recognition means so much because it reflects the heart of our team members. From regularly delivering meals on routes throughout the year to stepping up in large numbers to support local seniors during the devastating Spokane Complex fires, our people continue to show what community truly means.

As a credit union, we believe showing up for our neighbors is simply part of who we are. But being recognized by an organization we admire and respect is both humbling and inspiring. It's the kind of encouragement that fuels us to keep finding ways to make a difference in the communities we call home.

Thank you to everyone who voted in our 2nd Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest! The creativity, Halloween spirit and friendly competition from our branches and departments blew us away. 👻

After counting all eligible votes, we're excited to reveal this year's Top 10 Pumpkin Decorating Contest finalists!

These pumpkin pros are now one step closer to claiming year-long bragging rights and taking home The Grand Golden Gourd! 🏆

🎃🏁 What a gourd-geous day at the Great Pumpkin Race & Family Carnival, brought to you by Meals on Wheels Spokane!

This past weekend, Horizon Credit Union had a blast joining families and community members at Riverfront Park for an afternoon packed with pumpkin races, carnival fun, and plenty of smiles. From cheering on little racers to connecting with our community, it was a wonderful way to celebrate the season together.

The International Credit Union Day celebration keeps going strong!

Our Ten Mile and Chinden teams recently joined fellow credit union professionals for a volunteer event benefiting Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Together, they assembled care kits, wrote encouraging hope cards for teens, and created thank-you cards for the incredible hospital staff who make a difference every day.

Organized by the Southwest Chapter of Credit Unions, this was another wonderful opportunity to put the credit union philosophy of People Helping People into action and support children and families in our community.

We're proud to keep the spirit of International Credit Union Day going through service, kindness, and community impact. 💙
