PackEx will restore a 256,000 SF building in Marianna, Florida, to create a state-of-the-art aluminum-only bottling facility. We recently celebrated the NMTC unwind of WV Great Barrel Company and today honor our extended partnership through RDP’s Community Investment Program. In 2019, RDP and the Barrel awarded a $150,000 matching funds grant to the Greenbrier community of White Sulphur Springs toward their efforts to rebuild following a catastrophic flood. The community used funding toward a community pool and fitness & wellness center. The project was completed in 2020 and is featured in the video below!

Congratulations to NMTC Partner Atlanta Community Food Bank on the successful unwind of a 7-year compliance period with Rural Development Partners! New Markets Tax Credit financing made it possible to expedite construction on a much larger facility in East Point (GA) while enabling more capital for vital operations. Amenities include significantly more distribution capacity, 34 loading docks, and expansive cooler/freezer space for fresh healthy food and produce. In 2023, ACFB hit a record level distribution of fresh produce, and again in 2024 with 136 million pounds of food providing 113 million meals through more than 700 partner organizations in their 29-county region. 51 new jobs were created, 168 retained, and southern farmer partnerships flourish as they meet the needs of their community together. ACFB's NMTC story is featured below - aired on "America's Heartland" (PBS TV) the spring of 2023!
