The Federal Communications Commission is warning consumers about bank impersonation scams. You may receive a phone call or text from a number you don't recognize or from what appears to be the bank's phone number. The bank imposter will typically tell you that you have had fraud on your account and ask you to take immediate action in order to protect your money. This is a SCAM; please hang up immediately.

Fire Prevention Week was a great opportunity to give back to those who do so much for our community.

Last week, Heidi presented two donations to the Forest City Fire Department. The first, made possible through our employee Jeans Day for Charity campaign, will support fire prevention education for local youth and community members. The second, presented on behalf of the Hanson Family Foundation, will help fund new gear for several firefighters.

We are honored to partner with our local fire department and deeply appreciate the commitment and service they provide to Forest City and neighboring communities.

Homecoming weekend is in full swing here at Waldorf University in Forest City!

Waldorf will always hold a special place for MBT Bank as our co-founder, John K. Hanson, was a 1932 graduate, and his wife, Louise V. Hanson, mentored many students and served on the then-Waldorf College board from 1981 to 1999. Today, their children continue this legacy of stewardship, and we are incredibly proud to have Waldorf in our community and honored to employ so many great alumni!
